About Sue Malthus
Sue Malthus is a Wellington contemporary painter and print-maker who has experimented for the past twenty five years with multi media and found objects. Print making is Sues passion and she enjoys experimenting with different printing processes.
Sue is interested in a variety of themes which include memories that relate to Sue's rural upbringing in the South Island, The ANZAC's, journeys from the past, and New Zealand native birds. Often Sues work includes all of these aspects.
Sue has a Diploma of Art and Creativity (Honours) from The Learning Connexion. Many of her works are in collections in New Zealand and overseas. Sue works part-time at Te Papa, Wellington, New Zealand.
